China's Medical Technique Praised by Foreign Family
An Italian pediatric patient with a rare congenital heart disease—pulmonary artery sling—was successfully treated by a surgical team led by Director Li Yonggang of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Without open-chest surgery, they corrected the cardiovascular malformation through just a small incision on the posterolateral chest.
