This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. At this profoundly significant historical moment, the Western International Communication Center has launched the thematic campaign "Stories of WWII: A Commitment to Peace." The initiative brings together overseas social media accounts from multiple provinces and cities, including Beijing, Zhejiang, Fujian, Yunnan, Guangxi, Ningxia, and Henan, alongside international institutions, witnesses of WWII from both China and abroad, and their descendants. Utilizing AI technology, the project also brings old photos back to life, tracing heartwarming moments from the war-torn years and highlighting stories of cross-border solidarity and mutual support during times of crisis.
