He noted that Vietnam is Chongqing's largest trading partner among ASEAN countries, with bilateral trade maintaining double-digit rapid growth despite the complex global economic backdrop. In 2026, the Vietnamese Consulate General will focus on promoting cooperation in three key areas: facilitating exchanges and building mutual trust between relevant departments, expanding economic, trade, investment ties and product exchanges, and deepening cultural, tourism, educational, and people-to-people connections, allowing more citizens to enjoy the landscapes and cuisines of both regions
